In person in Winter Park, Florida. Online therapy for Florida residents.
You Deserve to Be Seen in Your Full Complexity
You're navigating multiple worlds, maybe as a second-generation immigrant balancing cultural expectations with your authentic self, or as someone whose queerness doesn't fit into neat boxes. You might be recovering from being Baker Acted, wrestling with suicidal thoughts, healing from sexual trauma, or working through an eating disorder. Maybe you find community and connection in online spaces and fandoms that feel more like home than the "real world." You need a therapist who understands that healing isn't one-size-fits-all, especially when your identities intersect in ways that mainstream therapy often misses.
As a queer, nonbinary, second-generation Filipino American therapist, I bring both lived experience and professional training to our work together. I understand what it's like to navigate mental health challenges while holding marginalized identities. My approach blends DBT skills for emotional regulation, IFS for understanding your internal system, and narrative therapy to help you reclaim your story, all through a systems-aware lens that honors your relationships and communities (both online and offline).
I'm especially passionate about supporting:
LGBTQ+ people of color and second-generation immigrants
Folks navigating suicidality and crisis experiences
Asian Americans dealing with intergenerational trauma
People healing from sexual trauma and complex PTSD
Those exploring polyamory and kink
Individuals with eating disorders seeking culturally-aware care
People who find connection in internet and fandom communities
My neurodivergent-affirming, culturally responsive approach means we'll work at your pace, honoring both your struggles and your resilience. I'm conversational in Japanese and hold a Career Counseling Certificate to support your professional growth alongside your personal healing.
